Marine Military Academy, Brownsville, Texas
Wayne had a memory related to the Marine Military Academy in Brownsville, Texas from his high school days when one of his high school teachers came here to accept a post at MMA. Sadly, the teacher died suddenly very shortly after he and his family had moved to the area.
Anyway, we took a short ride to see the MMA campus and the Iwo Jima Memorial that's on a parcel of land across the street from the school entrance. Here are pictures of both:
