The second day at White Oak Creek Campground brought some sunshine and lower temperatures. While Wayne spent some time working on investments, I did my part by scavenging for firewood. That saves on the campfire wood expense, you know. When I'd scrounged around for every piece of firewood within walking distance, we would have to cut some of the longer pieces with the NEW CHAIN SAW!
Yes, we have a chainsaw and we just love it. It's a kiddie one -- battery operated by Black & Decker with just an 8" chain blade. But we do have fun cutting our firewood!
